Tap + on the main screen and pick New Trade. Fill in the ticker, trade type (stock, options, futures), entry and exit prices, and quantity. ProfitGrid calculates your P&L from there.
Each day on the calendar shows your net realized gain or loss: green for a profitable day, red for a loss. Tap any day to see the individual trades you logged for that session.
Yes. There's a Journal field when you create or edit a trade. Use it for your reasoning, market conditions, or anything else worth remembering about that trade.
Yes, via iCloud (CloudKit). Your trade data syncs across any device signed into the same Apple ID. If sync isn't working, check iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud and make sure ProfitGrid is enabled there.
No. Your trades, P&L records, and journal entries stay on your device. If you use iCloud sync, data goes into your personal iCloud account. We never see or have access to any of it.
No. It's a trade logging tool, nothing more. It doesn't offer investment advice, trading recommendations, or any financial guidance. Nothing in the app should be taken as advice to buy or sell any security. Talk to a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app. Go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ProfitGrid → Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Open ProfitGrid, go to the subscription screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used when you originally subscribed.
Refunds go through Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the ProfitGrid purchase, and select "Request a Refund."
