These Terms of Service ("Terms") will govern your use of CaddieOS ("App"), developed by John Steinmetz. CaddieOS is currently in development. These Terms are subject to change before the official launch.
CaddieOS is a personal golf tracking app designed to help golfers log rounds, track scores, record stats, and monitor handicap progress. It is intended for personal, recreational use only.
You agree to use CaddieOS only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:
Handicap calculations and round statistics in CaddieOS are provided for personal reference only. They are not certified by any official golf governing body (USGA, R&A, or affiliated associations) and should not be used as official handicap records for sanctioned competition.
CaddieOS uses location data while on the course to provide distance and positioning features. By enabling location access, you agree to the location use described in our Privacy Policy.
Your round history, scores, and stats belong to you. John Steinmetz does not claim ownership over your golf data.
The App and its design, branding, and software are owned by John Steinmetz and protected by intellectual property law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The App is provided "as is." We make no warranty regarding accuracy of GPS positioning, distance calculations, course data, or handicap results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, John Steinmetz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including incorrect scoring, GPS errors, or data loss.
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
These Terms will be updated as the App develops and before launch. Check back before the official release.
