Feastmode ("the App") respects your privacy through the following practices.
Feastmode uses information you choose to provide: location, cuisine preferences, dietary preferences, price range, selected filters, and restaurant or place history within the App. This information provides only the App's core features.
Feastmode may access your device location in order to show nearby places and enhance location-based results. Location data stays on-device and is not transmitted to developer-controlled servers. You may control or revoke location access at any time through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Feastmode.
The App retrieves place information including names, addresses, coordinates, ratings, and business details through Apple MapKit. When you search for restaurants or view nearby places, relevant request data such as your search input and approximate location is transmitted to Apple's servers to return results. Apple processes this information under its own privacy policy. Feastmode does not control Apple's data handling and does not maintain developer-controlled storage for this data. Apple Privacy Policy
Preferences, filters, and history are stored locally using Apple-provided systems when iCloud is unavailable or disabled.
When enabled, the App may use Apple iCloud to back up and sync your App data across your Apple devices. Apple manages iCloud infrastructure under its own privacy policy. You may disable iCloud backup in device settings. Apple Privacy Policy
FeastMode uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions, purchase restoration, and entitlement validation. RevenueCat is provided only an anonymous, randomly-generated app installation identifier — it receives no name, email address, phone number, location data, payment card details, government-issued ID, or any other information that could identify you as an individual.
Specifically:
Apple independently processes payment transaction information under its own terms and policies. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Preferences, filters, history, and location data remain on your device or personal iCloud account — they are not stored on developer-controlled servers. RevenueCat processes only an anonymous device identifier and subscription status information. Contact information provided for support is used only to respond to inquiries.
Feastmode does not sell personal information or share location data, preferences, filters, or history for advertising. Third-party services used for core functionality include Apple MapKit (for location-based place search and map display), Apple iCloud (for backup and sync), and RevenueCat (for subscriptions using anonymous identifiers only). These services operate under their own policies and legal obligations.
Your App data remains stored until you delete it. You may remove data by deleting app content or the app itself. RevenueCat, Apple, and Google may retain information for operational, legal, security, or compliance purposes.
Feastmode relies on Apple platform security, on-device storage protections, and iCloud infrastructure where enabled, as well as Google and RevenueCat protections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Feastmode is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Updates may occur, with the Effective Date updated accordingly at the top of this policy.
