Why isn't FeastMode finding restaurants near me?

Make sure location access is enabled. Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → FeastMode and set it to "While Using the App." Also check that you have an active internet connection — venue data requires a network connection.

How does the recommendation algorithm work?

FeastMode uses a custom scoring system that weighs factors including proximity, ratings, cuisine type, price range, and how well a venue matches your stated preferences. Results are ranked, not just sorted by distance or star count.

How do I save a favorite restaurant?

Tap the heart icon on any venue card to save it. Your favorites are accessible from the Favorites tab at the bottom of the screen.

A venue is listed but it's closed or doesn't exist. Can I report it?

Venue data comes from the Google Places database. Tap the venue, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Report an Issue." We'll flag it for review. You can also contact us directly below.

How do I set my food preferences?

Go to Settings → Preferences and select your favorite cuisines, price range, and dietary requirements. FeastMode will prioritize results that match your profile.

How do I cancel my FeastMode subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → FeastMode → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
