This Privacy Policy describes how PixelPlacard (the "App") handles information. PixelPlacard is a local creative tool for macOS.
Information We Collect
PixelPlacard collects minimal information:
- Image files: Screenshots and images you open in PixelPlacard are processed entirely on your Mac. They are never uploaded to any server.
- App preferences: Your template settings, saved presets, and export preferences are stored locally in your Mac's application support folder.
- Crash and diagnostics (optional): If enabled via macOS, anonymized crash reports may be sent to help diagnose issues.
How We Use Information
- All image processing happens locally on your device โ no images are sent to our servers
- Preferences are stored locally to remember your settings between sessions
- Crash data (if enabled) is used solely to fix bugs and improve the App
Data Sharing
We do not collect, transmit, or share your images or project files with any third party. Your creative work stays on your Mac.
Data Deletion
Uninstalling PixelPlacard and removing its Application Support folder deletes all associated preferences and data. Your output image files are saved to locations you choose and remain under your control.
Children's Privacy
PixelPlacard is not directed at children under 13.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
