Overview

Shipnotes is designed with privacy in mind.

Your project data, bugs, features, notes, tasks, and related content are stored locally on your device and optionally synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.

Information We Collect

Local and iCloud Data Storage

The information you create in Shipnotes — including Projects, Bugs, Features, Notes, Tasks, Tags, Statuses, Due dates, and related metadata — is stored locally on your device.

If iCloud sync is enabled, this data is synced securely through Apple's iCloud services using CloudKit and is associated with your personal Apple account. We do not directly access or manage this data.

Analytics and Purchases

Shipnotes uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchases, and limited analytics related to app transactions and subscription status.

To support this functionality, Shipnotes may generate and use a randomized unique device identifier. This identifier is not tied to your personal identity and is used solely for subscription validation, purchase restoration, transaction analytics, and basic anonymous usage analytics related to subscriptions and app functionality. We do not use this information for advertising or user profiling.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

Your data is stored using Apple system technologies and protected by the security measures provided by your device, iCloud account, and Apple's infrastructure. While no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to minimize data collection and exposure.

Children's Privacy

Shipnotes is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
