Shipnotes ("Shipnotes", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Shipnotes app and how that information is used.
Shipnotes is designed with privacy in mind.
Your project data, bugs, features, notes, tasks, and related content are stored locally on your device and optionally synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.
The information you create in Shipnotes โ including Projects, Bugs, Features, Notes, Tasks, Tags, Statuses, Due dates, and related metadata โ is stored locally on your device.
If iCloud sync is enabled, this data is synced securely through Apple's iCloud services using CloudKit and is associated with your personal Apple account. We do not directly access or manage this data.
Shipnotes uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions, purchases, and entitlement validation. RevenueCat is provided only an anonymous, randomly-generated app installation identifier โ it receives no name, email address, phone number, payment card details, government-issued ID, biometric data, or any other information that could identify you as an individual.
