Welcome to Shipnotes. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shipnotes application and related services provided by Shipnotes ("Shipnotes", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Shipnotes, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
Shipnotes is a productivity and project tracking application designed to help users manage bugs, features, notes, tasks, and related development work across multiple projects. You may use Shipnotes only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You agree not to:
Shipnotes does not require account creation. Your data is stored locally on your device and may optionally sync through Apple iCloud services using CloudKit. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple account, backing up your data where appropriate, and managing your own iCloud settings and storage.
We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, iCloud issues, user deletion, third-party service interruptions, or unauthorized access to your Apple account.
Some features of Shipnotes may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and managed using RevenueCat. Billing, refunds, cancellations, and subscription management are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
Shipnotes, including its design, branding, icons, interface, graphics, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or redistribute the app, modify or create derivative works, use our branding without permission, or resell or sublicense the app. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your use of Shipnotes is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how information is handled.
We may update the app, modify features, add or remove functionality, discontinue portions of the app, or release bug fixes and improvements. We are not required to provide continuous availability or support.
Shipnotes is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and reliability or uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that data loss will never occur.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shipnotes and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, inability to use the app, data loss, subscription issues, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim related to Shipnotes will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the previous 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you violate these Terms. You may stop using Shipnotes at any time by uninstalling the app.
Shipnotes may rely on third-party services including Apple App Store, Apple iCloud / CloudKit, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or outages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Shipnotes after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
